Sometimes Qbittorrent crashes and does not open for different issues. To try to recover the torrents and the restart the downloads you can go in the [%userprofile%\]\Appdata|Local\qBittorrent\BT_backup and drag and drop all the files on the Qbittorrent window. It will take care of detecting which are the torrent files and you can re-add them to your list.
